Terms

How catering requested through this site is quoted, confirmed and delivered — and what happens when a flight moves.

Last reviewed — August 2026

This document is being finalised with counsel. Company details, registered address and governing law are marked below as still to be confirmed. For anything urgent, write to book@privatejetchef.com.

Who you are contracting with

These terms apply to catering requested through this site and supplied by Private Jet Chef. The registered company name, address, registration number and governing law are to be confirmed before go-live and will appear here.

A request is not yet an order

Sending the request form starts a conversation. It is not a confirmed booking and it does not commit you to anything.

We reply with availability, timing and a price. The order exists only once we have confirmed it to you in writing and you have accepted it. Until then, nothing is fixed.

Prices

Prices are quoted per order, because they depend on the airport, the dishes, the quantities, the delivery window and the handling involved. No prices are published on this site and none are charged through it.

A quote states what is included — food, packing, delivery to the aircraft or the nominated FBO — and what is not. Airport fees, handling charges and taxes are shown separately when they apply.

Payment

No payment is taken on this site. Payment terms are agreed with the quote. The accepted methods and terms are to be confirmed before go-live.

Lead times, changes and cancellation

Business aviation moves. We build around that: tell us as early as you can and we will re-cut the order where the kitchen still can.

Fresh food is bought and prepared for your flight, so a change made after the kitchen has started cooking may not be recoverable. The lead times and the cancellation scale that apply after that point are to be confirmed and will be stated here and in each quote.

Delivery and handover

We deliver to the aircraft, or to the FBO or handling agent you nominate. Getting the order onto the aircraft depends on the airport, the slot and the handling agent — parties we coordinate with but do not control.

FBOs and handling agents named on this site are listed for reference. They are not partners, agents or affiliates of ours, and naming one implies no relationship with them.

Food safety, allergens and diets

Allergens and dietary requirements must be declared with the order. Our kitchens handle all fourteen declarable allergens and are not allergen-free facilities.

Chilled food is packed for a stated holding window. Once the order is handed over, keeping it within that window is beyond our control and passes to whoever holds it.

If something goes wrong

Tell us straight away, ideally before service. We would rather fix an order in the hour than argue about it afterwards. Where we got it wrong, we put it right.

The limits of our liability are to be confirmed with counsel and will be stated here. Nothing in these terms will exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

This site

Airport data, FBO listings and menu content are published in good faith and kept up to date as best we can, but they are informational: confirm the details that matter for your flight when you order.

The brand name, texts, photographs and page designs on this site belong to us or are licensed to us. Please do not republish them.

Changes to these terms

The terms that apply to an order are the ones in force when we confirm it. When this page changes we update the review date at the top.
